Hey I have several bad places that i have found in my OEM soft top. 6" tear in the top, windows are scratched up and back window at the bottom is cracked. the stitching is coming loose at the bottom corner at the back. So I just ordered what i thought would be the best thing for my application. i ordered a sailcloth replace a top. My frame is in great shape, so i did not need a frame. I got it for a great price and Bestop has a 100.00 rebate. so ill let yall know how happy i am when its all installed. if you have an comments please feel free to do so.

I'm in the same situation, stitching has come apart wt the zippers. I was thinking about a hard top but too expensive. Looking forward to the pictures.

well i got my soft top skin in today/ it consist of the top, two side windows and back window all tinted. ill take pictures tomorrow before, during and after we install it.

well i had my mind made up to install the bestop replace a top today. the one i ordered was the sailcloth with out door skins. So i followed the directions and watched the installation videos from bestop, and things went perfect. i set the top and windows out in the sun to heat up which makes it easier !!!! The top fit like a glove. its tight and you have to have some hand strength for this job. but once its on, it looks great. there are two places that are a little wrinkled or not so tight, but will not effect the top at all. Plus bestop says after a couple days of being in the sun and cooling off at night will get rid of all the wrinkles. So far i give it a 9. ill give up dates over the next few days . i took a few pictures, so ill try and post them .

i am planning on taking my old top skin to a upholstery shop and have it fixed, it needs sewing is several places then it will be good to go.
