Nice! I like that a lot!I think it would look cool.
Ever seen the interior of some of the more modern VW GTIs where they did the plaid throwback theme?

The Willys looks so much better IMOReminds me of the Jeep Shortcut ConceptView attachment 56390
I had totally forgotten about that one! Love the plaid. That wild green vinyl is a bit much for me, however. I'm more convinced than ever that this needs to happen, now.Or petersons willys build for their Ultimate Adventure last year, or two years ago...

It's pretty bad-ass, for sure. The Willys looks so much better IMO
I've pretty much made up my mind that it's happening. Unless the cost is outrageous, it's something I very much want to do. The outer sections of the seats are in good shape, so it may just require the top sections (inserts) be done. I'll see what the gal says.I say do it Squatch.... I think it would look good! Make it your own.
Ummm…no! :facepalm:Just imagine plaid seats with an angry bird grille!
I guess the JK owners weren’t around when the TJ was still sold at Jeep dealers or you would have seen these as much as you see the angry grills. HaJust wanted to throw these pics somewhere. Now here's something you don't see everyday...

Took the wife's XJ in for an estimate on getting the seats reupholstered. It came in only $100 more than I thought it would be, so I'm good with that. Two-person shop. Saw some of her work, and I was impressed. I'm still waiting for the samples to come in, and then I'll show those to the gal. She's pretty booked through October, but November is wide open. So, unless something drastically changes between now and then, I'll have her do the XJ's seats first, and if I'm completely satisfied with her work and the experience, I'll have her do the TJ's, as well.
Plaid. Who'd a thunk it?
