The old fluid doesn't need to be changed, that is all I am saying. Chrysler built millions of these and has tested thousands and analyzed all the failure modes and still does not ever suggest a full fluid change at any mileage. Following the correct maintenance schedule most ultradrives will still have half their original fluid at 200K miles. It's one of those things people on the forums just got carried away with after a few failures due to overheating and factory defects. It does nothing to protect the transmission.
