Guys..... This might be off topic here but is there any way to get rid of the annoying beeping noise when the door is open and the key is in the ignition? It also does it when i pull upnthe handbrake.... Beep beep beep x6 drives me freaking nuts!

Pull the door defeat fuse. You will have no lights when you open the door. But no annoying beeps

It beeps on the parking brake (yeah, six times!) no matter if the door is open or not. I would like to fix that too.

2X... I agree with Boinked. Is this what your talking about? check the video. You might have to take that speaker off somehow or disabling it.

It is behind the glove box. Can't remember the number. But the sticker should tell you.

Has anyone tried getting a petition on the 2005and2006 pcm problem? I wish there was a lawyer that would take this problem to Chrysler. These jeeps are useless they cant pass emissions and there isn’t a pcm to be found. All you can do with your Jeep is use it for a lawn ornament. I believe I have been scammed trying to have one rebuilt. More on that later. Still giving them the Benifit of a doubt. Even if someone gets a pcm they don’t last. What kind of thing is this. The owners of these jeeps. NEED A GOOD LAWYER.

Lawsuit because they won't keep making parts for a 13 year old car???? How long should a company be required to make parts 20 years 50 years?
It boils down to "end of life" unfortunately after 5-7 years cars are "end of life" and are no longer supported by the manufacturer. There is no way to force them to do it. There are manufacturers that rebuild and repair PCM/ECM. You can find replacements. Just not new ones.
