If something unforeseen like that happens that’s totally acceptable, but a 10 hr labor quote for BL install sounds like the “go somewhere else” price.

Out of curiosity, how long does it take to remove the front trackbar frame bracket? I though drilling mine out was bad, can’t imagine removing it.

My first BL took me 3 hours and I knew nothing. After that, 1 hour and change was the norm. Mechanics prey on peolple/especially women that know nothing about any vehicles.

Or it is a "we've fucked this up before and ate 5 hours" price because we missed the middle bolts in the torque box were rusted in place.

If there is nothing connected and the axle and tire are out of the way, I can get one off in usable condition to put it back on in about 15 minutes or less. Clean up takes another 10. Drilling one takes a couple of minutes.

I don't work on vehicles for a living but could not imagine. In my part of the country I don't think I would consider doing one for 10 hours quoted, there's a great chance every bolt snaps.

Maybe the mechanic knows what its like working on a 26 year old vehicle and priced it accordingly. Just because the vehicle is in AZ now doesn't mean that it lived there all it's life.
