Any advantages or disadvantages of going with a two-piece front track bar busing compared to a one-piece?

I would love to upgrade but with bills and other priorities it is not in the budget at this time.

I have a decent wobble in my steering when hitting bumps that can be exacerbated by steering wheel input, and I think I have it narrowed down to play in the track bar bushing. There is probably about 1/4 to 1/2 inch passenger to driver play in it as far as I can see. Definitely some perceptible movement.

Any advantages or disadvantages to going with a two piece busing compared to a one? My XJ Iron Rock track bar used two piece and that thing was rock solid.

I am thinking I will go with a Napa chassis part two piece in stock rather than a Masterbuilt one piece at Orielly's.

Update: Replaced the whole track bar because I found the frame side was beat.

Fixed the issue now the only thing i need to do is rotate my tires.

Wobble all gone.

Did you stay with the same manufacturer ? IF not.. what trac bar did you install ?
Did the axle side mounting hole show signs of wallowing out ?
IF you no longer have wobble; then the mounting hole was probably in good condition.

I went with the heavy duty NAPA part. The bar I replaced was from the factory. All holes were in great shape, probably because it was the factory install.

The wobble is all gone, I had a good amount of up and down play in the frame joint on the trackbar. Once pulled I could really feel how shot the joint was. It had 120k on it so go figure, lol.

Drove it 50 miles today and retorqued to factory spec. All is good.

If you have wobble check the frame side of your TB. Many of the heavy hitters on this sight suggest this, and sure enough they were spot on.

Especially look for up and down slop, it is not super easy to spot at first but for me that was the issue.
