Apex Rapid Valves

Has anyone seen these? They look pretty cool...Supposed to air down a 35" tire from 35 to 10 in like 15 seconds! They look vulnerable thought...kinda bulky and I'm sure not very flexible. Anyone have experience with them?

I think those are the same as what I've got on my rims.

I didn't install them. Jeff did on the SpyderLock rims.
He's got videos of when he's testing out how fast he could deflate and air up his 40's.

Can't speak to these things, but I did run the Powertank Monster valves. They do work, they are very fast both ways, but they are absolutely vulnerable and would likely snap off on contact with anything rigid. They work on Rick's Spyder Locks because they are very well protected behind the rock ring. I considered running them on my Racelines, but they would not be protected and would not last long.

The Apex looks like it has a similar deflate feature, but at least one of the models still uses a standard Schrader valve, so filling would be the same. The Monster valves require an adapter to fit the much larger valve for inflation, and it makes a hug difference. One of the Apex models may have something similar, but I couldn't tell just on my quick review.

If you can keep the Monster Valves alive - and well maintained, which takes some diligence - they definitely work. This is 25, down to 10, and back to 25 on the fodeez.

I have the same concerns about the apex valve. Will need to look at the walkers and see how unprotected the valve stem is.
