Are Full Hard Doors Directly Interchangeable with Half Doors?

I sure can't tell you what the right JEEP setup is, I've changed around all 5 of my previous Wranglers. All I can say now is I still look bc now mine being an AUTO would be big advantage bc wife could actually drive my car.

And yes, I have always had 1/2 doors, just got Full Doors for Christmas. Drop them in, not biggie.

Why did you have to switch hinges?

One of the previous owners did not buy hinges when they bought the full doors. Why? I don't know... I found that the hinges were painted to match the half doors. That put me on the trail of finding out how my TJ was born. I ran the serial number on a site from Chrysler? and found that it came with half doors. I checked and the key matched the half doors and not the full doors.

I’ve never seen hinges have to be changed-

We do have some paperwork you have to fill out if you’re going to convert over so that we have all our records correct-

When you have 2 pairs of doors and only one pairs of hinges.....
