They fit in the dash if you buy brackets and trim a small piece of metal. Someone earlier in this post mentioned it and I think posted a pic.

Crutchfield supplies mounting kits free, and wiring (I didn't need that). They also are a phone call for tech advice forever. Outstanding customer service and prices like Amazon.

I just upgraded my sterio, now the only thing I wish I would have done different is put a marine sterio in the dash, but I used alpine type s speakers all around. I don't have a sub, and will probably add one later. But for now it sounds awesome. I am thinking of doing the sealed pods, but I'm not sure if that will improve the sound or make it worse. All in all I spent 200 on my whole setup, including the pioneer head unit which wasn't top of the line it was a budget head unit. I can take pics in the morning.

What are the benefits of the sealed pods vs baffles?
