Ball joint press recommendations?

Not sure what the HF press is like, but I ordered these two a few year ago and it worked to replace mine, and one other TJ’s ball joints… I’ve used the press a few times on various U-joint jobs.

As stated above, if I was running a shop or doing jobs for money, I’d buy better stuff, but for the limited use I have for it, it’s perfect.

I just did balljoint deletes with the HF tool, I bought the adapter kit also but I was able to do the swap without any adapters. It worked great. I don’t like renting the presses because they take a lot of force and who knows how it was treated. I do know the one I rented before was bone dry no grease.

I have the OTC kit without the Dana 44 adapters. I have never had an issue.

I bought the HF adapter kit which is made to fit their press, but didn’t try the Dana 44 adapter

I have this tool. Replaced the ball joints on the TJ with no issues. Have also used the same tool for RZR and ATV ball joint replacements.

I've always used the OTC set. Compared to my HF one, the OTC one feels and looks like a superior product.
