Best method for paint touch up?

My 1999 black TJ needs some touch up. Short 2 inch and smaller scratches in doors. Paint peeled off part of side mirror brackets is probably the largest. Just small dings here and there. I don't have the time to spend alot of time on this.

Whats the cheapest and easiest method of doing this?

I've seen everything from the touch up paint pens to nail polish.

Also once I touch up would a paint correction or buff job from a paint shop make much difference? I oersonally don't care. But I'm getting ready to sell it.

Get the exact paint code from the sticker on your Jeep. "Black" is a whole family of black-ish colors.

Call a few local dealerships and find out whom they hire to do mobile paint touch up. They come in a van and do the touch ups, and its mint

You'll probably make it look worse than it already does. Pay someone that knows what they're doing for a paint correction or just let it go. It's a TJ, they're suppose to be a little beat up.

I’m running into the same situation and one spot is about a inch wide in the bay of the jeep. My concern is rust. What method would serve to prevent rust from forming? Not too concern with the perfect match just don’t want rust to start. The pen applicator might be too time consuming. Looking for a brush applicator or maybe just primer. Does anyone have experience with “paint to fix”?product?

We have a local automotive paint supply store that will mix the correct paint code and put it in a spray can. Check around your area to see if there is a similar place.

Dupli-color has touch up paint the is really close ( at least for my white) check you door sticker there is a paint code 2 or 3 letters or numbers. Take that with you to get the right color.
