I just posted this about an hour ago in another thread. This is what I made for my kid's TJ, switchplate from amazon, a piece of aluminum plate as backer, and a couple of wedges cut from plastic (like cutting board material)

You have already done some work to get couple switches in place but if you wanted to start over the panel that I made is always an option, I'm sure I can find the instructions. Mine fits OTRATTW Switches and has room for lots of stuff.

How did u cut in the square hole for the light?

I'm going to guess he used a cutting wheel, or possibly drilled the corners and then used a sawzall. Plasma cutter would also have worked.
