Bestop Roughrider Plastic Buckle Broke

Hi there sleuths... need some help on a replacement plastic buckle. I rec'd a Bestop Roughrider spare tire organizer as a gift and as soon as I connected the strap that goes under the tire, the buckle broke. Bestop has been no help, saying it's not a replaceable part. It's just a buckle!? And it's the threaded male end, not the sewn female end- should be a 10 second fix. They recommended I buy a whole new organizer, which of course I refuse to do. Tried a superglue fix to no avail. Anyone know a source for the 1.5" buckle shown below? I've bought a few from Amazon but they aren't the right type and don't clip into place.

If push comes to shove, I'll just end up buying a new buckle set and sewing in the female side but was trying to avoid that route.

Is the organizer that buckle is from newly purchased? If it is I'd push back on Bestop's customer service department. They're normally very good about replacing defective products.

I had a ladderlock break on an old safari top. Found a replacement from REI and so far that has lasted 3+ years. I remember them having several repair buckles on hand too.

Most Tandy Leathers have a decent selection of buckles, as do craft stores like Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

OK, several attempts later this fits great! If you have a Bestop Roughrider Tire Cargo bag and a broken buckle, don't buy a new one like they suggest....

This one clipped in with a very positive fit- super happy. I have two more types on the way, but can't imagine one of those working better. Will report back....
