Cabin Air Filter

I was wondering if anyone has made any mod to put in a cabin air filter. If so, would you please show us what you did, and tell us how it is working out for you? Also, does anyone know why you might not want to do this. Too much strain on the blower motor?

I can see the usefulness of a cabin air filter on a closed vehicle, but don't see the benefit on an open-topped TJ...am I missing something here? Maybe on a hard top that never comes off...
