I went over to my buddy's new place and found a couple of bugs sitting around. @RINC
I'm not sure who's this one is.
This is "the blower bug" that I posted awhile back, although it lost its blower years ago. The '55 is his dad's new ride. He said he's been daily driving it. LS/6L80 and down probably 4". This bug was his uncles, who dropped/sucked a valve one day with the tach tell-tale reading 12,500. I went for the first ride when they got it back together, and he took her straight back to 11,500 shifting on like 10 psi. It was a quick little bug.
This one is his "drag bug". He used to run on the 1/8th with a built NA engine that would pull the front tires. It was a rowdy little engine that would not idle below about 2,000 and sounded like a crotch rocket. It seems like they were shifting around 13,000 with this one.
