I love a '37 Stude. Actually, I had thought about buying a project car years ago but passed. I wonder why 1937 was the last year Studebaker used "Dictator" as a model name.

Speaking of forgetting : 426 HEMI = Real HEMI
And the 5.7 Hemi = Modified wedge acting like a HEMI. , Kinda like the way Dylan Mulvaney acts like a women.
Remember when it wasn't uncommon to see these on our roads?

They still pull crazy money up in this area. I'd rather have an original Datsun roadster, myself.

Now that’s just mean…

Just so you can save a little face, the new "hemi" engines are "semi-hemispherical" and according to Chrysler the new design heads flow better. So there is that....
"Unlike the classic Hemi, the new Hemi has part of the bowl shape filled in near the spark plugs. According to Chrysler, these filled areas aid the flow of gasses into and out of the head. And these areas make the new Hemi's shape much less hemispherical than the original's."
It is interesting that Mopar used the original style heads on their 572 HEMI crate engine , if the fake HEMI heads flow better.
I believe the " filled in " area and twin plugs have far more to due to meet emissions standards than increasing flow.
