Jeep Wrangler TJ Performance PCM Tuning

Bump.
I’m working in Puerto Rico this week* and, after almost 25 years of renting through Avis, I got a JL. Compared to my LJ, the damn thing is a luxury ride. It’s also boring as hell and too quiet. Kind of reminds me of my wife’s Renegade.

* Dirty thankless job but someone has to do it.

Interesting, compared to my LJ, the JL seems not worth a dime more.

what you doing in PR? Theres some trails here that you could try with th JL. Theres an easy one in Fajardo that ends at a really nice beach.

Doing some consulting for Tren Urbano and over-eating. I usually stay in Condado because it's almost a straight shot to the yard. Back home now in what feels like very cold Illannoy but back in August.

That train cost us, the taxpayers, more to operate than what it returns in profit. Its sad that the local goverment are a bunch of crooks.

Same, flew into Detroit 3 weeks ago. Rented a Honda Civic for 3 days, $475.

I don't know of a transit in this country without some sort of corruption.

I know that the track workers at Tren Urbano are a hard working bunch of guys. I've known some of them for 20 years. I've been on track with them at three am, in the pouring rain, to replace broken ties. I can't say much about those in suits and ties, though. Years ago, I asked one of my contacts why the traffic lights at the Martinez Nadel station never worked and I was told it was better not to ask. Not even a stop sign there now.

The big cities are the worst and the corruption goes from the top to the bottom.

Totally agree. Our workers are very resilient and will get the job done no matter what.

Theres a current issue with the electric company. Thanks to those guys in suits about 1000 electric workers have been force to quit and loose all of their benefits (pensions and healthcare).

Theres a new company that privatized most of the transmission and generation services. What those guys in suit are not getting is that our electrical system is layed out in very challenging terrain that our workers already know how to deal with. Theres areas where the towers are placed with helicopters because theres no access road.

The contract starts next tuesday and about 1/4 of San Juan is without power already. In my house we spent the last 24hrs withou service because there were no brigades to fix the problem. The new company is hiring some of the employees but they loose all the benefits they had prior. Thanks to those guys in suits, in the government, that manage to bankrupt the only power company in the island. Think about it, how retarded would you have to be in order to bankrupt a monopoly?

Price is expected to rise from 0.16c to .24c kwh after the new company takes over and probably more in the future.

I waited almost an hour today to pick up my rental in Savannah, GA today. Bleah!
