There were a few moments where I saw the differences start to show. But for the most part, none of that matters in Moab. This week I’ve wheeled with all kinds of different setups, all surprisingly capable here.
Is that control arm supposed to have a bend? Or is that more carnage?Anyone parting a new 231 driveshaft lol? TOTW trail did this, vibes over 30 mph nowView attachment 248629

It helps that the rock in Moab is like sand paper so you have a lot more traction than most places. There were a few moments where I saw the differences start to show. But for the most part, none of that matters in Moab.
Heat shield failure led to bubble in the fluid line? I've seen that on the auto trans shifter cable but not on a clutch fluid line.Clutch update, replaced the master and slave with a prefilled assembly View attachment 249029View attachment 249030View attachment 249031

Agreed, Pretty unusual for sure, there are closer places than that to the exhaust and the pinch seam clip that holds it was still connected so it must have got nicked by a branch or brush in the past. There’s worse places it could have failed like 202 yds further down the trail.Heat shield failure led to bubble in the fluid line? We have had to use the 32 RH shifter cable on AW-4 swaps because they have a small bit of heat shield. Amazing what a little bit of aluminum crinkle tube can do.Agreed, Pretty unusual for sure, there are closer places than that to the exhaust and the pinch seam clip that holds it was still connected so it must have got nicked by a branch or brush in the past.
