Clutch update, replaced the master and slave with a prefilled assembly

Heat shield failure led to bubble in the fluid line? I've seen that on the auto trans shifter cable but not on a clutch fluid line.
Agreed, Pretty unusual for sure, there are closer places than that to the exhaust and the pinch seam clip that holds it was still connected so it must have got nicked by a branch or brush in the past. There’s worse places it could have failed like 202 yds further down the trail.

We have had to use the 32 RH shifter cable on AW-4 swaps because they have a small bit of heat shield. Amazing what a little bit of aluminum crinkle tube can do.
 
You can really hear the smashing sound it makes good video. Cracks me up. It's a bummer but worth it for hitting those trails it was a good day still. My new duck tape job is pretty good too
