I sold my OEM carpet within a couple of months of owning my Jeep back in in 2007. Since then I've run a bare tub.

But I'm ready to go back to having some creature comforts so I'm looking at carpet options and my build is approaching readiness for when I would install carpet.

BedRug seems to be the top recommendation on the forum.

I was looking at ACC but recently saw how @mrblaine had a nightmare of a time trying to fit the set. So I was turned off of that.

Curious about everyone's thoughts of best carpet options before I finally pull the trigger.

Right now, RealTruck (new owner of BedRug) has front and rear sets for just shy of $450 + free shipping. Seems to be a good price from my research (but not a BF sale).

Well it's been a long time, but I always liked my BedRug. It fit fine, seemed to be very nice quality, and was easy to clean. It looked factory as well. I wouldn't hesitate to run it on another TJ.

The PO installed BedRug in mine and I like it. I don't have any complaints or anything. There's a small gap on the transmission tunnel right in front of the rear seat. I've never tried to adjust it, and it doesn't bother me. I have no real experience with the factory carpet other than test driving some but honestly, I don't think about it, which is exactly what I want out of carpet. It looks nice and does its job.

I ended up going with the Bed Rug purchase.

It wasn't necessarily on sale but cursory search said it was a good price.

Match it up with a set of WeatherTech floor liners. I was only going to do the front two but decided to do all four but not the rear cargo area. Black Friday sale gave me 10% off.

Are you still running a back seat? I was looking at bedrug for something sturdy and grippy for my dogs. Ended up w/a horse mat from Tractor Supply and its been perfect. Thick, noise help, and super sturdy for dogs getting thrashed in back. I have factory carpet up front

I plan to run one with my twin boys — post my (since passed lab dog). So I'll run the rear seat - so I opted to throw in the 4x set from WT, vs my original intent to go WT 2x (front) set only...

I've heard good stuff on the TS matt options and may go that way down the road, depending how long I run the rear set (if the boys enjoy the TJ ride(s)).
