A 1 hour job. Changed out my radiator and now it gets hot before you get around the corner. Any suggestions? And yes, I changed out the thermostat.
Have you ever seen a TJ thermostat that can be installed both ways?Did you ensure the thermostat is installed in the correct orientation?

how hot is “gets hot”? Is it overheating, or just warmer than before?
Did you purge all the air from the system so the coolant is full without air pockets?
Did you ensure the thermostat is installed in the correct orientation?
Did your thermostat have a bleed hole? Is it at the 12 o’clock position? Did you burp the system?
I agree the problem that you are describing is probably air trapped in the cooling system, but since you replaced the radiator; did you replace the radiator cap ?
I would check the condition of the radiator cap and ensure it is snugged down (stops of cap and radiator bung are touching).

I looked up burping the system. I did not see a good way for the 4.o What is the best way?
Can't figure out how to burp the air.
