Nice work, Kid. It’s great to see someone young get into this - pretty rare these days. Learning to do things like this, and not being afraid to try new things, is a great life skill.

But me, I’d have run it through the hood….

there was much less rust inside the gas tank skid than I expected, I'll be raising it an inch tomorrow

with the gas tank removed I have a great shot at the rear uppers, I'm thinking I'll keep it off till the grease comes in and put in the CAs before reinstalling the gas tank.

is there anything else I should do before I put the gas tank back?
 
I also got my Savvy rear UCAs in, I greased them before I installed them,
there was a old output flange my dad had from his truck that worked perfectly as replacement to the Johnny joint tool
 
I had trouble drilling holes in the crossmember for the inner bolts on the bumper, I ended using 3 of the supplied bolts and 1 bolt about half the size of the rest because I couldn't get it lined up straight

Overall I'm very happy with the bumper, it has very solid welds (I think) and clean lines, not to mention it was under $350 including shipping across the US
