Connectors

So, a little advice here please.

Anyone have a hot tip for disconnecting these connectors? Pulled the retaining clip and started to pull the connectors apart to check / clean the pins and they are a cast iron pain to get apart after 17 years. Anyone have a hot tip on how to get them apart without screwing up the wiring?

Mine are like that but I just wiggle them back and forth aggressively and they come apart. They did for me at least.

Make sure that there's no dust/dirt built up under the part of the connector that you push down on to release it.

You can lightly tap the connector too, and sometimes that'll help loosen it up.
