You can see in the photo. The upper two screw holes are badly stripped and hollowed out. To a much larger diameter than the original screws. I replaced them with the ones you see. But even those over a short time became stripped too. And have pulled out. (Ignore the dirt. I obviously have not cleaned under the console lid!)
Anyone have any creative ways of fixing this so it will last?
I don't want to do larger screws as it will just widen the holes again. I'm wondering if larger screws and some sort of glue or epoxy might hold it? Would look like a shitty job most likely though. lol. IDK. I really don't want to research fiberglass and fix it with that. I need another project like a hole in the head. Anyway if any of you have fixed this before or thought of some creative way. Cool. Thanks in advance.

(On a side note. Someone got into my Jeep last night and left it open like that. I don't recall the screws being quite that bad either. But is disorienting to find that someone had been in my vehicle.)
