Hey when u guys install the aftermarket uppers, what do u usually do with the parking brake cables and brake line brackets. Should I just cut them off the lines?

Zip ties, p-clamps, adel clamps

Also the limiting factor for my droop use to be the control arms. Now it’s the Shock absorber

That can be a nice thing. Take note of the travels as you continue to piece the build together. :)

Can anyone shoot me a good link to properly setting the pinion angle. I got the control arms in and took it for a quick drive and got some bad vibrations. I got to go out and buy one of those angle gauges. I tried using a angle app on my phone but it’s neing difficult. Where do I measure from off the transfer case

No. The situation is it’s a 2005, I got the zone 4.25 lift so I did the motor mount lift. I know the goal is I need to get the pinion angle and the same as the transfer case angle. I just was getting frustrated and had to put down the wrenches and walk away. I’ve put too many hours into working on it this weekend.

I couldn’t get the bolts out of the front lowers for the life of me and eventually I just started cutting

Even if you can get the pinion lined up you may have exceded the ujonts operating angles, in which case you may need to lower the transfer case skid a bit.

I don’t think that’s the problem yet. It didn’t vibrate before I put the new adjustable control arms in and the lowers only ended up being 1/4 a inch longer than stock. I know the problem now is the angle. I just got too tired to want to squeeze back under the Jeep and fix it
