Hello all,
So obviously, the two springs that are recommended most on this forum are the 2.5" OME springs and the 4" Currie Springs, but I can't seem to find much information on the 4" OME springs. In fact, even looking for a place to buy the springs is difficult - tho only place I see them available is on Extreme Terrain. So anyhow, given that the OME 4" are a decent amount cheaper than the Currie 4", would they be a viable alternative? Does anyone know any numbers on the sets, such as bind and free length and spring rate?
Also, what is the minimum amount of bump stop required to get rid of spring bind? I think recall 2" being the minimum for 2.5" and 4" springs, with the exception of MetalCloak's due to their dual rate spring setup requiring 3.5". Furthermore, I sprig spacer would theoretically require more bumpstop, correct? As it would decrease the distance between the top of the spring and the bottom of the bumpstop.
