First impressions are that these little lights are really good. Getting a sizable amount of flood in a small package is what I was looking for. The quality and color of the illumination is very comfortable to look at. I really wish my TruckLite headlights were this nice to see through.

The aiming might get spread out more once the light bar is added. I do not think I will lower the lights on their mounts. The corners of the bumper are fully lit and a shadow is cast about 5 feet out from the vehicle, though I cannot see this from the driver's seat. I am still reluctant to add more shadow.

Light coverage looks great! I used the OEM fog lights to give some additional coverage in that 'just below and off headlight' spot - no where as bright as these but similar intent.

Have you checked on the angle for passing vehicles on the driver side to point a touch low so you don't blind passing vehicles in their periphery?

These won't be used for normal driving with traffic, so the aiming will be for full, wide coverage. In the past, I have used similar arrangements for mostly night driving on lonely highways to see animals wondering along the roadside. As soon as I see upcoming headlights the auxiliary lighting is turned off. Most of the time.

Makes sense. I was similar on the fog lights where I usually ran then to see the edge of our backroads.

Didn't turn the fogs off for passing vehicles — but I get using these like 'high beams' in that situation to turn them off. Appreciate the animal angle!

The payoff was several years ago with my first bumper in the middle of nowhere, late at night when I drove through a herd of 50-60 elk. It was fun to see. But it was better to know they were there early enough to slow down.

You need to give use some context here...

I like love venison jerky (haven't had elk) — but does the speed of the impact tenderize the meat?

It's difficult to find an empty dark space in the city...

Light bar needs to be tilted up a bit for more distance.

That' s a busy bumper. Very functional.

The final piece of clutter might be if the remote air chuck goes back onto the bumper. I'll decide that soon when I finish setting up the ARB Twin so that it actually does something.
