Do I have a slip yoke eliminator?

Had my tj a little over 2 years now and still trying to figure out what the previous owner had done to it and how well they did it. the latest part to go was the driveshaft, the socket yoke was bone dry and missing needle bearings. was going to rebuild the driveshaft but it’s out of round and pretty beat up so i plan on buying a new one. every shaft i see says it requires a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) and my knowledge of them is limited, so can anyone tell me from my pictures if i have one?

Yup, you my friend have the JB conversions Super Short SYE
A very quality part that I myself am currently saving up for...

I dont know if that is JB, but it is a super short sye of some kind.

My JB super short sye has a shorter yoke than what the OP has.

As the guys above stated, super short SYE. My guess is also JB Conversions. It has to be either them or Teraflex. I think both companies have changed the design slightly in the past few years so the yoke you have does not look like the the same yoke you'd get if you ordered the same thing now. The good news is that yes you indeed do have an SYE and all you need is a regular old double cardan drive shaft. Make sure to get a custom length though, because you have the super short SYE the standard length shafts (which are made for standard SYEs) will be about 3 inches too short.

Without seeing the whole tcase to see if it has been swapped it appears like you do just with a flange versus a yoke,

@Claybirdd I can tell from the photo that you have an advance adapters SYE housing. Someone definitely swapped the standard yoke for a flange. I don't recognize the flange and can't identify the source of it though.

Yes but you will need adjustable control arms to dial in the pinion angle
