I was able to remove all of the plugs using a tool like this, a little painful though lol. I also have a '98 4.0L
Made in China junk now. Just like MSD, MOPAR, etc, etc. What about Accel coils? Haven’t bought anything from them in a long time, but they used to be top notch.
I ran their Super Coils in a couple of my rides.
Yeah, if you have the original made in Japan MOPAR on there, run it till it dies.I'm just going to buy a spare and keep in the Jeep.
First, the OEM ignition coils in our Jeeps produce way more spark than is required to reliably ignition the air-fuel mixture, aftermarket ignition coils are a waste of $$$ if thinking of increased production. What about Accel coils? Haven’t bought anything from them in a long time, but they used to be top notch.
The only coil that I've found that lasts is the Blue Streak one. Made in Poland. Blue Streak is Standard's top line.I'm just going to buy a spare and keep in the Jeep.
