My apologies for making assumption that somebody miscalculated the sizes and perceived the 5/8 as smaller that 9/16.

Ah yes, I was referring to the original question of is it ok. No offense whatsoever. You had me genuinely intrigued since math is something I have to use every day for my job. Thought maybe I missed something worthwhile.

i only use 1 for special projects.


i was never good at math......... i can't do fractions on paper, i have to do them in my head.

some people can look at something and right away recognize it, material thickness, hole sizes, lines and centers. some have the eye, some don't.
