Mine is named Marlene. After my mother who passed away. That way my mom gets to ride all the trails with me Still!
Great post, you truly appreciate your vehicles and their history.I've never outgrown that feeling of climbing behind the wheel of an old vehicle (the older, the better) and sitting there, pondering what it was like when it was driven off the showroom floor and into the driveway of its new owner. Was it someone's pride and joy? A longtime goal finally reached? Or was it just transportation to them, and nothing more? Some of my vehicles hit me with that way more than others. My '58 Edsel Citation 2-door hardtop..."Marilyn"...was one such vehicle. I'd sit in that car for a half an hour at a time, just sitting there like some love-smitten kid, thinking about what she must've been like in her heyday. LOL Yeah, I guess even an Edsel had a "heyday" at some point in time. Well, maybe...![]()
I definitely bond with 'em. Doing all my own work on them helps with that, I'm sure.Great post, you truly appreciate your vehicles and their history.

Did they look in the back??Mine is called zombicon
I bought the stickers to match the colors of the other stickers, so it looks as factory as possible. I was pretty meticulous putting the stickers on. I have more than once been asked if that is a real thing? Like is "zombicon" a real package. I always tell them yes, and it came with a fold down Gatling gun in the back.

I thought 1997 was the first year for the coil spring TJ, I googled it and according to Jeep.com I am correct.I think 97 is the last year before they changed the suspension?
The TJ era was 97-06. All had coil springs.I thought 1997 was the first year for the coil spring TJ, I googled it and according to Jeep.com I am correct.

Yeah man I was reading some site that someone posted a link on here about the history of Jeeps and it was really good but unfortunately I suffer from CRS.That is what I had always been told. I just wasn’t sure if there were some left over YJ’s sold as ‘97’s so I looked it up.
