Door seal install

Back in the day seals didn't come with clips and pins. They were held in place with a liberal applications of gorilla snot. Are the TJ seal clips and pins actually necessary?

Not only necessary but a pretty darn good way of doing it.

Just an update that my APDTY full door seals are going good 1 year later. Some seam sealer for the top and I'm leak free so far this season.

The clips work great.

I just ordered and returned the APDTY full door seals for my 04 LJ. Both side had finger size gaps at the top corner by the windsheild.

I'll be trying the Fairchild from Quadtec next

Bummer, I did both half doors last month and I’m (no jinx) leak free after torrential rains this week.

Has anyone used their windshield header seal?
