Eaton e locker wiring

Anyone had their e locker wires coming out of the differential get really hot and blow the fuse in the relay when plugged in?…I have good grounds and it’s wired correctly (Eaton install guide and a few videos)it’s really straightforward….I’ve got 12volts to the end of the wiring harness that plugs into the differential as well as 12 volts to the rocker switch

Shorted inside the differential? Bad magnetic collar?

Did you test the locker before buttoning everything up?

Assumed Eaton was perfect….I did hear it click one time before buttoning it up

Based on your description of the wires getting hot and blowing the fuse sure points to something being shorted.

Do a continuity test between the axle housing and each of the locker power leads. Do it again for the frame and then the body.
