Engine no longer starts

Hi,bro.

My Wrangler TJ 2004 4.0 soprts suddenly won't start and I don't know why, so I would like to get everyone's opinion on the cause.

I tried to start the engine this morning and heard a "click" as if the starter relay was going on and then all power went down.
The navigation system and other accessories work fine when the key is in the ACC or RUN position, and the battery voltage is fine.

After repeating ON-OFF several times, the meter continued to run as shown in the video.()
This movement occurs when the key is in ACC and continues even when the key is removed. It stops when the key is in ON or START.

I disconnected the battery ground terminal and left it for about 2 hours, but the situation did not change.
This is the second time I have encountered this symptom. The last time, the problem was fixed while I was looking for the cause, so I continued to drive the car as it was.

I apologize for not being able to write this in a clear manner, but I would appreciate any help from the senior members of the team.

Either a dead battery or dirty terminals on your battery. Load test the battery to confirm if it’s bad. Did you notice that your voltage meter does not indicate anything?
Bad battery is my opinion.

Or at least check it…. Ne had an issue with the actual switch, contacts were dirty, but had the same symptoms as an actuator. Switch can be opened and cleaned up.

Thought you meant the broken pin in the switch. Gotcha.

The actual switch is full of copper contacts, and in the high humidity areas that we’ve lived, the copper oxidized and cannot make contact.

Thank you all for taking the time to share your valuable time with me.

After leaving the terminal disconnected for a few hours, I was able to restore it.
I still haven't figured out the cause yet... It seems that the days of fear (exaggerated expression) of recurrence will continue.

There was some dirt on the terminal, so I will try to clean it.
The restored meter panel shows a little below 14V, and the peephole on the battery itself shows green, so the battery itself should be fine.

As for the "click" sound, it was heard every time the terminal was not restored after a short time of removal, so it must not be the sound of something breaking. It could be the starter relay.

I did not think of ignition switch actuator. It is raining right now (no roof where I parked), so I will check it later.
With this symptom I initially suspected a PCM failure, but is that a possibility?
Should we assume that the PCM is malfunctioning, but that the cause is due to undervoltage caused by a faulty switch or battery?

Try cleaning the terminals on the battery, and on the battery cables with some sandpaper, then tighten the battery cables to where they just stop moving on the terminals. It really just sounds like there is just a little corrosion/dirt where they need to make contact
