Factory fogs having relay / fuse issues

Hi; I'm a new member with a question about my factory fog lights that I couldn't find an answer to by searching threads. My 01' TJ had no relay in the PDC for the fogs when I got it last month, so I popped one in there and they came right on. Sweet; I actually like the stock fogs and drive to Northern Montana in all kinds of ridiculous weather once a month all year, so I'll be using them. I noticed that evening that when they're not on, but the park or HL's are on, just a bump of the switch (like using the turn signal) makes them flicker on and off. Next day they weren't working anymore and I assume that the relay is popped. Before I go buy another relay and test/replace the headlight switch (just guessing, the flicker makes me suspect there's a short in the switch), I'd like to know a couple of things:

Is there a fuse in the interior fuse panel that also corresponds to the fogs? Most things are clearly marked on the schematic, so I figured that the relay was it...

Has anyone else had any issues with the headlight switch shorting relays?

I'd really like to have the stock fogs, operating on the stock switch (call me crazy; I'm just that way). My first approach is probably going to be cleaning the switch with some deoxit if I can access the contacty bits; buying another relay; rinse and repeat. If that doesn't work, then I guess actually testing/replacing the switch will be next. Thanks up front for any experience, insight or good-natured ridicule you all might have to offer.

It's not fuse related or relay related at all. It's your multi-function switch. Check out those threads for detailed articles on how-to fix it.
