Anybody know the best place to get factory paint colors in spray cans? Also roughly how many cans it would take to paint a set of TJ half doors? The body shop is trying to say it'll be $2000 and paint might not even match for a set of half doors which is completely BS.

I believe some body shops can mix it and either can or bottle it for you. At least here, in NJ, I was able to have a shop mix factory colors for my TJ. Give some places a call.

I'll also add they said they had to take my fender flare and fenders off to get my door off I just walked away from the retards at that point

A body shop can mix the color for you, which is the route that I would go for doors. I refinished my driver and passenger footwells using Mopar Spray and then a clear. It wasn't perfect, but it was close.

Dealer sells factory spray paint, just need the color code. I got mine from them and its not that expensive.

All my body shops said they won't mix the colour for me unless they get paid the crazy money to do it all themselves. Just thinking of getting paint from the dealership

Try your local automotive paint supply store. They should be able to do this. I have used one here in Bradenton, FL many times to make cans of spray paint for lots of different projects over the years. They even have a higher quality version that has a valve in the bottom of the can and once you press it the catalyst mixes with the paint and you get a finish that rivals what a body shop can do.

Got mine from Quadratec. I bought 4 cans and had about 1/2 can left after I did my half doors.

Napa, paint stores can mix it & put it in spray cans. When I inquired it was about $50 a can, but I think a couple cans & one clear would do half doors easily. Prolly have enough to touch up other little bits later on.

Ya I got a 4 cans mixed at one of my local shops about a month ago $40 a can
