Flush mounted tail lights

How much should they cost and how did you come up with your new number?

Eagerly awaiting to see those numbers. If they are good, I'm glad to place an order for a reasonably significant quantity.

I modified the OEM bracket to screw into the lower OEM holes, screw mount license plate lights wires through one of the upper existing holes. Had to mount the plate, bend it up for access to mount the plastic bracket... and all sorta BS.
Then I found the Savvy bracket online, in stock even. Would have gone that route probably.

I don't remember.
I'd have gladly used Savvy's if they'd been in stock. I'm Oh-fer on parts I've tried to buy there.

The plate light is always going to be a problem due to where the plate moves to and the fact that the OEM tail light has a hole in the bottom of it for a clear lens that sticks out over the license plate. Very hard to do that when the new tail light is closer to the body than the plate is in the original holder.

This is a reasonably tolerable solution.

Got these from MaxBilt. In 3 days I forgot where I bought everything. Had to have clearance behind the plate to make them work.

Who needs relocation brackets or even a license plate when you cloak them with a sticker

I'll have to check level on it. Nothing jumped out at me visually.
Yup a CB antenna mount. A nice touch I guess but my GMRS antenna mount is already on an 8 x 8" ground plane plate on the 3rd brake light mount.

If I recall correctly, my Savvy tail lights have a small provision machined in the bottom that looks like it could work as a route for a small loom to wire in the plate light. @mrblaine for corrections/confirmation.

Or drill a small hole with a rubber grommet behind the plate bracket and feed it up to the plate light.

You are correct. I had a groove machined in them for that.

When I installed my savvy lights, I moved my plate to the spare tire with a motobilt mount. I repurposed the tailgate pin connector for my brake and running light signals. Used a rubberized trailer connector for my third brake light and the plate light so I can remove them to change the tire. The plate light uses the mounting bolts for the plate and the motobilt plate relo kit has a portion that hangs below the plate that is the perfect size for my ORV stickers. Works good.

It is like most things I've done. Others do it cheaper until they do all of it, then not so much.
