I am looking at this jeep that is out of state and considering buying it. It has 138k miles and has been in southern states most of its life. $14k, what do y'all think

A few more. The dealer has really good reviews. He seems as trust worthy as a used car salesman can get lol

Beryl green is my fav color on a Rubicon. Frame looks good with minor surface. Anybody else see anything I don’t? Price maybe can come down a tad. Sahara seats were placed in there. Hard top looks pretty good. Appears nice!

Nah that's just surface rust, looks like. Someone spray painted the frame to make it look fresh, I'd give it a real close inspection with a hammer and a flashlight. Also judging by the dual steering shocks on a stock steering set it's got some bump steer or death wobble issues.

There must have been a time
when we could have said no.

Yah, love that dark green TJ especially against a snowy background :)

Unfortunately if I bought it, it would be site unseen so that's why I'm taking opinions of all of you TJ experts.

I really love the color and the Sahara interior. BDS seems to be a good lift from my research, miles seem ok. Overall I like the jeep just iffy because of the fact it's way out of state and I personally think all of these TJs are overpriced anyways ha ha ha.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think 2 steering stabilizers are necessary. Might have more issues than just improperly balanced tires.

For the right price, I think that's not too bad. There looks to be some surface rust on the frame (there could be worse rust hiding), but I've definitely seen worse in terms of rusted frames!

It appears to have a decent lift too, though I don't understand why anyone would buy into the whole "dual steering stabilizer" hype.

So what do y'all feel is a good price on this jeep?

I would not buy any vehicle that is not rare as hens teeth without inspecting/driving first. Why do you need to buy it sight unseen? He wouldn't hold it for a deposit?

Yep include a road trip or plane ticket in your cost calculation. If you think it's worth buying its worth going to see first.

Honestly I just don't have time to go to New Mexico anytime soon. That's a long ways away. There is one close by that I'm interested in, but not that excited about beige, and it has a long arm lift, not too excited about that. Could be worse I guess. Only 67k miles, about the same price.

More pics. I don't think it looks as clean as the other one. Has 4.88s, and about 67k miles. $13.9k

The green one looks decent...I think you would have to correct the front end though. I see it having bump steer issues. The frame looks decent from what I could see, there is a bit of rust on the body mount. I'd request more pics there...see if the dealer will drop the skid for you.

Honestly I like the Green one better. I think it looks more promising, but hate not having time to go check it out. I like the Sahara seats a lot too. There is a clean 06 rubicon here that I like, but potential OPDA issues and hear bad things about the 6spd manuals, plus they want almost $18k for it.... it's proving difficult to find any good rubicons locals.
