Last year (not this winter) wife and I lived in our motorhome while we built our home. The winter was horribly cold with temps at -18 and spiking even lower. In an attempt to conserve propane / heat I put a styrofoam sheet wrap all the way around the 38 foot coach and held it in place with duct tape.
Pulling it off in the spring didn't present a problem however, it left a horrible layer of residue every place the tape was.
Could not get to it until a couple of months ago. Alcohol, Goof Off didn't touch it! Finally used WD40 and it worked-slowly but it work. Soaked it with WD40 then used a plastic scraper to scrape it off. Last weekend I watched an episode of of Truck Tech where the folks used wax and grease remover (the prep ain't solution) to take off residue from removed badges.
Got mine out and using about 1/4 can with a microfiber I finished the remaining half in a quarter of the time it took with WD40.
Plus it left no trace.

Ahhh, I've used that stuff before personally and can attest to how well it works, I love it!

When I first got me Jeep it had vinyl rocker panel stickers that the PO added extra glue to. It took me a couple days with a heat gun, GoofOff, and WD 40. I bet that stuff would have saved me some elbo grease.

I've always used WD-40 and a Micro fiber to get sticker film off, but I'll have to give this stuff a try now! Thanks!

I've used the heat gun and goo gone method... Friggin takes forever!
