Grille Overlay?

Sure.

grille overlay
Barricade

The only two relevant pieces of information in the OP's post, the first was enough. Vacuum-formed plastic grille/rad support covers, like the factory chromed metal one, only not chromed or metal. You could always Google "grille overlay barricade jeep tj" if in doubt...

Here endeth the lesson. :)

He wanted one of the grill overlay’s like the angry bird grill overlay’s, but he got too angry before he conveyed clearly what he wanted. LOL. Not exactly a common item people on the forum are looking for.

My interpretation:

I’d like an overlay for a standard TJ grill, but the only options I see are for the terrible grill designs that everyone and their uncle has. I’ve looked so hard trying to find the overlay that I now wonder if I’m stupid and overlooked something. Help!

Actually a woman, not AI, thanks. So sorry for the apparent confusion. I guess if anyone had actually read my profile instead of... Well, you know what they say about assuming.

TLDR: Barricade doesn't make the overlay anymore. Sad face. Don't want angry eyes overlay. Frustrated face. Am I missing something? ASKING FOR HELP face.

To everyone who had the common decency to actually NOT respond from an ivory tower or generally like a neanderthal, I appreciate you.

To everyone else, *jeep wave*.

Also, the "admin" who "helped" me? Someone higher up needs to sort that out, b/c he ain't it.

I agree. I have a black LJ and would very much like to cover my pock-marked grille with one. But I discovered three years ago, much like you, that they seem to be non-existent.

Probably not. Many here are not fans of the "angry anything" grille overlays, they can be a source of mockery. Personally, I like mine with the Jeep face it came with, to each their own.

a neanderthal

Some of us resemble this, but do not necessarily act in kind, for the record. For example, I rarely eat in public for the sake of others. :)

Welcome. Glad you decide to return. There's good Jeep TJ info to be had here, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. You're definitely in the "not a neanderthal" group, for the record lol

I have a black mesh "bug screen" that the PO obviously had in place for years that ended up scratching the paint up. If it wasn't yellow, I wouldn't be so whiny. I just don't want to have to do a complete overhaul or mess with touching up the paint.

If you like that look, you'll probably just have to paint it, or maybe coat it with truck bed liner, which is its own can of worms.

Besides, I'd be worried about water and rust with one of those overlays.

You can cover it with a matte/satin/gloss black vinyl wrap too. Rvinyl makes/sells some good stuff that I've used. I'm doing the top of my fenders very soon with a textured vinyl from VViViD.
