Harbor Freight Bauer Tools

Is anyone using the Bauer cordless tools? I'm thinking about trying their cordless weed sprayer and their cordless insecticide fogger. I would have to buy a battery and a charger setup initially which costs more than each tool. If I buy Makita brand for which I already have batteries and chargers the weed sprayers are about triple the cost of HF and Makita doesn't make an 18 volt fogger.

I don't own any of their tools and have very little personal experience with them, but do watch a lot of tool comparisons. Bauer is roughly on the same level as Ryobi in my opinion, good tools for lighter duty jobs but I wouldn't buy them for things that I expect to use and abuse. One of my friends owns a Bauer impact and is admittedly pretty rough on his stuff. He had managed to break off the hog ring so you had to hold the sockets on. The one time I used it out on the trail it struggled to get my lug nuts off and we had to bring out the breaker bar. Obviously an impact is a bit more heavy use than the tools you'd be buying, but I was a little disappointed in the performance. I'd look to see what else you can find before settling on them just to see what your options are.

I don't have the Bauer line, but do have the Hercules tools, I know the Hercules 20v line comes with a 5 year warranty, not sure on the Bauer.

Not a bad idea. Like I said I wouldn't trust them with heavier duty tools, but those two will likely be fine.

Im ~5 years deep with the Bauer corded angle grinder. It's been fantastic, and did all the work for the suspension redo, axle swap, and rear frame chop/butt crack delete.

10/10 would do again.

The only Bauer tool I have is one of their corded 4 1/2" angle grinders, either the 7 or 8 amp. I bought it after I burnt out two of their Warrior angle grinders within the first day of using them. So far it's been great and it's completed more jobs than both of the Warriors did (which was zero). Can't speak for any of the other Bauer tools though.

I have the same Bauer grinder and use it regularly. Had it for over a year now and it's still going strong.
