Has anyone used seat risers?

Just want to post about a Seat Riser Kit. My daughter is 5'2 and the sun visor doesn't help at the factory seat height. So I decided to install the 2 inch Supreme Suspension riser kit. I must say what a difference. Almost makes me feel like the whole Jeep Wrangler has been lifted.
The only issue with my install was that one of the bolts from Jeeps factory build, was a cross threaded bolt and I had to tap it.
The install besides that would have only taken half hour per side.
One warning is if others that drive the Jeep are over 6 feet tall, the tilt wheel won't get the steering off you legs.
Second the street signal lights, if your too close will be out of view. You will have to lean down to see the red and maybe yellow.
Otherwise the kit is easy to install and very sturdy.
Just wondered if anyone else has used a seat riser kit?

Lots of us with 2003 and newer TJs have installed seat risers since the factory decided to lower them that year to "better align" the seat with the air bags. I installed mine right after buying the Jeep and immediately appreciated the better driving position. I did notice it was a little harder to get in under the seat so I removed the spacers 6 months ago but I just re-installed them a month ago. The lower position was just too low to allow me to see what I'm doing as well while on an offroad trail. They're a nice enhancement so long as you're not extra-tall.

Most expensive option I know ($60 shipped) of but it's also the best built kit I've seen. The guy who sells this kit is very local to me and a veteran. Buy American..... I'm 6' and aside from visibility on the trail, I've never had an issue. Wouldn't want to swap them in and out as needed, though. Point: if I was to ever buy a kit it would be this one.

I bought a cheap 1.5" set off Ebay after installing 03-06 seats in my TJ. At first I thought they were way to tall (I am 6'1"), but after a day or two I thought they were perfect. Its a good mod

I’m 6’3” and installed 1” spacers that I made from 6061 aluminum
Im very happy with the improved seating position.

I'm 6'2"ish and this is the first time I am able to see the stop lights without hunching down and twisting my neck. I normally have to drive looking through that tiny band at the top of a winshield. Thank you Jeep for finally making a vehicle for guys on the taller side. It is so much easier to raise the seat than try to lower it for us tall guys.

Also have the Supreme Suspension 1 1/2" risers . . . . like them. I'm 5'8"

The fit, stability, and material are excellent on the Supereme Suspension kit. I think anyone looking to do a riser it is a great value.

I just installed Buchanan Precision Machine 1.5" risers on a 2005. I'm 6' and my daughter is 5'6". We used the guide on Buchanan's website on how high to get. It no longer feels like I'm driving around in a bathtub. Neither of us have any issues with these risers and the seat doesn't hit the windshield like I've read on some reviews. I've included a picture after I raised one seat.

What do you mean by " I did notice it was a little harder to get in under the seat" Did you mean it was a little harder to get into the jeep ?

I do like the feeling better in my ol YJ than the TJ. Has anyone though wow it's much harder getting into the jeep after installing the risers. I am all ready running a 4" lift and a 1" BL and 35's

The seat riser raises the seat another 1.5" plus it reduces the space between the steering wheel and seat. Between my 4" suspension lift, a 1" BL, and 35" tires that raises the seat from its previous 7.5" higher height to 9". I like the 1.5" seat risers but they definitely make it harder to get in/out of the Jeep. Especially with the reduced space between the seat cushion and steering wheel.

Got it that makes more sense. I thought you meant like getting under the seat , not under the steering wheel.
