He was paid and gone and maybe an hour later I went out to take it down the road to the corner store and immediately got a check engine. My scanner came back with a cylinder 2 misfire (p302) and I figured that made sense because while it idled fine, it really struggled/hesitated when I hit the pedal. I changed out all 6 plugs but noticed the plugs in it were really clean. Changed them anyway. Check engine light gone but still hesitated under load. The dude had said something about prob needing a fuel filter so I looked and he didn’t have any inline filter installed so I bought a new fuel pump and installed it. Still hesitated under load. Then I unplugged all 4 o2sensors and I thought it was good but I was wrong, still hesitated under load. Now I should tell you that I have a lead foot and usually hit the gas heavier than most pretty much all the time but I noticed that if I just BARELY feather a little pedal it seems to lose the hesitation and actually accelerate really well. But I’m saying I have to just touch the pedal ever so slightly to make that happen. I put a mityvac on it and grabbed some video of what it does when I rev it up to about 2500-3000rpm. The pic has the place I grabbed the vacuum line from which was the 2red arrows. I plugged the one on the left and hooked up the mityvac (green) to the tube coming off what I plugged. If this is the wrong place to pull get a vacuum reading please, let me know. I look forward to any insight. Thanks fellas (and ladies).
