Hemi/GM engine swap long term reviews

Greetings,
Hope this is the right spot for this. I ( and others ) would be interested in any long term reports on your installs. Would you do it again with the same engine or switch? Any mods after install? Long term reliability? (I have heard of some cooling issues that may have been solved with hood louvers). Do it your self of have a shop do the install? ETC.
Please feel free to add any other informative info you feel we might benefit from. I am sure myself and others contemplating this would be greatly appreciative.

I'm curious about the same topic, I'm planning on a V8 swap in the near future either an LS3 or a 5.7 Hemi and was wondering which would be the better option and a few reasons why or experiences with them. I've heard LS is the better more bang for your buck option with a better aftermarket, but the Hemi just seems cooler staying with Chrysler power and having something rarer, that not many people have done in the past.

So far my Hemi TJ is 100% everything I wanted out of the swap. reliable, runs cool, power that puts a huge smile on your face, and just sounds amazing as well.. No going back ever. Im getting about 13-16 mpg and love the 545RFE transmission..

I've read the hemi is much easier to get the wiring harnesses to communicate with each other, but have no actual experience with this. Am very interested to see what long term views of these swaps report.

This is another con of buying a later model since my understanding is most swaps are only legal if they’re same year or newer.

Watching to hear as well, as eventually I want to get an LS engine in here.

How long you've had it and how many miles you've done after the swap really helps people. All I mean is long term can mean different things.
