How does this new u-joint fit?

ok so what gives .. 04 Rubicon front shaft diff end 5-793X .. old u joint had plastic holding it in .. this one has no way of retaining it as its sticks out past the flange on both sides like the old one ... how does it fit?

Rotate it 90 degrees. Inside the box should be a pair of retainer clips the fit in the grooves on the caps.

I just did mine. They use the inner clips.

Looks like two ears run outer clips, and two run inner clips according to the diagram.

Ah, diff end uses straps...missed that part.

Only inners. There is a tab on the diff yoke that holds the caps in place.
