How hot is too hot?

Could it be just the gauge is off? Mines off and sits at 140 but it's only the gauge on the dash. Somehow.

Just an update. Since replacing the aftermarket thermostat with a 195* MOPAR piece I've had zero issues with overheating. Thanks to all who offered suggestions and advise!
