How many of you outdoor cook with a Traeger? If not what is your BBQ rig of choice?

Retired my propane box smoker for a Recteq 590 last year. With current temps in GA I'm cooking pretty much everything on the recteq lately.

If you are cooking it to be a roast then for myself I pull at 120f which should coast to 123-125 during the rest. That is a bit pink for some so you could pull at 123-125 and it will coast to 127-130. If you are looking to make pulled out of it you have to get it above 195 but you really want a fatty cut for that and most roasts are too lean and will dry out.

Almost better to sous vide it for the lower temps.

I go for about 200 on the smoker for pulling.
