So, my kids HATE that there's no headrests in the backseat. My daughter can use a booster seat with a back, but my son is too big for it. I've been thinking about taking the rear seat apart, and adding headrests to it. I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has done it, or has seen it done.

I have the cloth rear seats out of my old WJ, so I could take the headrests from that. I'm not sure how to attach them to the TJ seat though. I also have a u-pick JY I could grab some from.

That is pretty sweet, but to get that into Canada I'd be looking at over $600!! If I somehow manage to botch my seat beyond repair, I can get a good used seat for under $100.

For 282.00 I'd call that a cheap and safe way to add headrests. Not sure what is involved but Bestop... great brand name... states "meets federal regulations". I would not put my kids into less. And my kids are worth $600.00 too.

There are businesses across the border which will recieve USA goods and hold them for you to pick up close to home. Stay in the USA over 48 hours and there is no duty on purchases under $800.00.
