I was thinking about how you insure vehicles in the US, specifically modified ones when you have no "safety checks"
Say for example, you weld on new control arm brackets, but actually don't know what you're doing, and said control arm bracket fails and you lose control and damage another vehicle, will your liability insurance pay out?
That mighgt not be the best example, I could do the same here, but we do have regular safety checks where the inspector would/should pick something like that up. If you don't have a current "Warrant of Fitness" your insurance may very well be null and void.
