Saw this on facebook and thought it was different and could possibly work well if something actually DOES happen. Thoughts?

My LJ is going to be spending a lot of time in the trailer soon and I’m stressing out about it being stolen. So I installed a tracker that uses GPS and cellular towers to find its location and send out information. It can do tons of cool stuff, much of which I won’t use. What I like is you can draw geofences so that it sends on TXT and email alerts if it leaves the geofence area. It even has alerts for if the ignition is turned on or if the internal shock sensor is triggered. Will also send out location reports at pre-defined intervals (every 5 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds, etc.) while it’s moving. Pretty cool technology. The device was $100 and it’s $16 a month subscription which includes the SIM card. Cheap insurance IMO. If somebody does steal it, at least I’ll be able to track it. Also includes an internal backup battery so if they cut the tires to it, it will still broadcast for 6 hours. There are several different devices on the market, each with their own pros and cons.
